Below are several education resources to assist you with navigating your military or veteran education benefits.
The Air Force currently pays 100 percent of tuition, up to $250 per semester hour and $166 quarter hour ($4,500 annually), in off-duty courses with accredited schools who have signed the Department of Defense Memorandum of Understanding in pursuit of approved degree programs.
The DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences.
Starting 1 October 2021, only DoD approved Skillbridge programs will be approved. Please see the DoD link below to search for DoD approved Skillbridge programs.

Air University (AU), headquartered at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, is a major component of Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and is the lead agent for Air Force education. AU provides the full spectrum of Air Force education, encompassing precommissioning programs for new officers; graduate programs in specialized military disciplines; progressive, career-long professional military development for officer, enlisted, and civilian Airmen; and specialized programs for US cabinet appointees, senior executive service (SES) civilians, and general officers.

CLEP and DSST exams allow you to earn college credit for content you may already know by taking college level examinations. CLEP and DSST exams are funded 100% by DANTES and Service Members can take the first CLEP or DSST exam for free. CLEP and DSST exams can be applied towards your CCAF, DLI, and/or bachelor degree programs.
